True Love Waits 4 Fold Purpose

GUIDE young people to make a commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage.

GIVE young people who have made a commitment to abstinence a chance to reaffirm that promise and challenge other young people to do so.

GUIDE parents of young people to make or reaffirm a commitment to Godly standards of sexual behavior and model a life committed to sexual purity.

GIVE adults a tangible way to affirm and encourage young people who make a commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage.

Meet the TLW Philippines Staff:

Derek Ross is our National Director. He is an American and is from Texas. He calls himself Fil Pinoy because he is “Feeling Pinoy”. He has been living in the Philippines with his family for five years. Derek is grateful and happily married to Amanda with five fantastic kids namely Sunday, Honor, Canon, Ada and Eli. At times, he refers to himself as “Zaido, Pulis Pangkalokohan!”:-) Additionallly Derek has a Masters Degree in Spammish meaning to say, he could make lots of meals out of one can of spam! Kain Tayo!

Franco Ferrer is our National Training Coordinator.  He is from UP Diliman with a degree of BA Creative Writing in Filipino. Aside from writing and reading, his passion to speak the truth drives him intensely. He also serves as the Youth Director for Joshua Generation Challenge in Luzon leading the youth making their lives much of God.

Ree Soria is our National Media Coordinator. She graduated from ABE International School of Business & Economics with a certificate course in BS Tourism. Ree is a professional photographer and loves to surf! She loves to encourage young ladies that being single is a great blessing and they are worth waiting for!

Ami Chouravong is our National Media Production Manager. She is a Filipino-Burmese-American who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a double major in Speech Communication and Spanish. Ami also studied Mass Communication at UP Diliman. She was one of the finalist in ABS-CBN’s Close Up to Fame 2. Ami loves to make chika with taxi drivers. Ask her why? She’s also into nerve breaking dance moves, wait till you see her.

Oda Zapanta is our Technical Support Coordinator. He just recently joined our team and seems like his enjoying it His expertise in video editing and tech stuff adds more flavor to what we are doing. He describes himself as simple with a great desire to impact the Filipino youth.
