Are you Man ENOUGH?

Christ is the supreme example. He was strong and He was pure, because His sole aim in life was to be obedient to the Father. His very obedience made Him most manly-responsible, committed, courageous, courteous, and full of love. A Christian man's obedience to God will make him more of a man than anything else in the world. Consider these qualities:

Responsibility
Commitment
Courage
Courtesy
Purity

Here is the one part young men should know.

COMMITMENT - He must be a man of his word, no matter what it costs. Never tell a woman you love her until you are ready to follow that immediately with, "Will you marry me?" In other words, a man's love for a woman, if deep and abiding, leads to a lifetime commitment to her. Many heartaches would be avoided if he held back any expressions of love until he is ready to make that commitment. Once promised, he never goes back on that word.shut_up.jpg

SO.... WARNING_WARNING_WARNING...

Never tell a woman you love her until you are ready to follow that immediately with, "Will you marry me?" and The second great part of the passage above was ANY EXPRESSION OF LOVE

The first part is obvious, don't say I love you, kasi walang saysay.

Because, what you're really saying is I love you for 2 months, or 1 year or 5 years but then I am going to leave you...

What's that? Nothing! I nothing you for 2 months, or I nothing you for1 year, or I nothing you for 5 years and then I am going to nothing you for ever.
But the second part needs illumination. What represents any expression of love.

That would be anything that would move toward borrowing the affections of a woman's heart; candy, flowers, strong words with wrong motive like wow your hair is beautiful, poems, simple sweet messages on text, a necklace, more flowers, more candy etc.

But here is my last encouraging rebuke. For every young man. He needs to look far into the future and see his wife whom he has not yet met.

Does any young man want another man to give any expressions of love to his future wife? Would this young man want to magically know who his future wife is and see another man sitting with her, kissing her, reading poems to her or running his fingers through her hair. Would young man say "Well, the guy seems to love my future wife at least for that day?"

No man wants that. He wants his future wife to be pure and unblemished. Kaya,.... We should be the men, to those women around us that we want the men surrounding our future wives to be. Medyo malalim but think about it. This has to be what God wants. Going back.

Christ is the supreme example, He was strong he was pure. His sole aim in life was to please his father.

When you look into a young woman's eyes and you run your fingers through her hair. Ask yourself, "Is this what my father wants" or "Is this my desire?"

    well i agree
    sa cnbe
    mu kuya....

    nowadays kc madali
    magsabi ng
    "i love you"
    without thinking
    f anu ba
    talaga
ang meaning ng words na 2..

    peru msarap kcng
    marinig
    yung mga
    salitang
    2..

    lalo na sa karelasyon...

    peru dhil din sa salitang
    ilove you,
    marami ang
    nabuntis,
    napariwara..
    dhil sa maling pag aakala
    ng pag mamahal...

    cguro ngaun
    dapat mas
    mapaliwanag
    kung kylan
    mu tamang
    sabihin ang
    i love you...

.wow.super inspiring.dapat nga po talagang sa tamang tao lng sasabihin ang salitang "i love you"..kasi sa mga ganyang bagay..marami ang umaasa..in the end..marami din ang umiiiyak..minsan nasasabi ang mga salitang yun out of the surge of emotions..kaso ang masaklap..emotions fade away..saglit lng yun..mga minutes or hours lang xa naglalast..so meaning, after the emotion has fade away, wala na rin yung individual na bumanggit ng "i love you"..what about sa person na nasabihan nito?..na probably took it seriously?..before saying i love you to a person, one should pray for it first..di ba diba po?..kasi saying i love you as you've said is equivalent to saying "will you marry me" and both is a very big decision which entitles the one involved with a very big responsibility..responsibility that we should fulfill..

    ..ps..

kuya, naishare ko po yung link na to sa fb wall ko..hope its ok 🙂

  • Thanks Ruth! We are glad to hear your voice tru comments, hehe.

It's hard to meet lots of people at my age who shares the same view/perspective with this, nowadays it's just hook-ups and false promises all the time. Well, it would be awesome if you and your significant-other are the type of people who looks into the future, not like the other people who "just lives by today".

This blog (and many others on this site) is inspiring and a good read. God is great! Keep inspiring! Well, I know God has wonderful plans for me, and it'll definitely be worth the wait when the time comes when God has finally introduced me to the woman I was meant to be with. But for now, there are a lot of things yet to be accomplished haha!

    Cheers!

(will share this blog along with the link at my multiply, if you guys don't mind.)

  • Hi Cedric,

I'm glad i was lead to this site. I saw it on a christian mag that i bought at church. It's really sad to think about it sometimes that so many people have a LOT of wrong beliefs on love. I've been a values teacher in a christian school and i've included love, courtship and dating to my curriculum for fourth year high school students. I saw the need of it especially since madami nang brainwashed sa maling beliefs ng love dahil sa media. Lalo na ung pagsabi ng I LOVE YOU. I'll be sharing this site on my fb for my students and friends.

going back to the article, this is really true. ang hirap nga lang but it is the real deal. im hoping that many will be able to read this para makita nila ung essence ng pagsabi ng I LOVE YOU. God bless!!!

  • paolo madeja

  • WOW KEVIN

Awww. that is sooo sweet.. I'd be excited to meet you in heaven bro! 😀

  • claire

every man should read this.. para hindi sila puro "i love you" sa bawat girl..
nahulog din ako dito.. at tama i nothing you for almost a year.. masakit sa simula, kaya po salamat dito sa blog na ito na-enlighten po ako talaga.. hindi po ko dapat magalit dun sa guy kasi hindi niya rin po siguro sinasadya. what's good is we learn from our mistakes.. at siguro naman po natutunan na namin yun..

every girl should look at God like He is the one. and He is really the one.. no more, no less.. naaalala ko tuloy yung kanta.. "salamat, salamat O Hesus sa pag-ibig Mo, walang nagmahal sakin ng katulad Mo.. "

more power po uli and continue writing blogs.. Godbless guys..
(i would like to share this blog to my facebook friends.. pls.. :>)

  • sheryl

    yeah...

    Praise the Lord!

Grabe, this message really could help young pips to really hear from the LOrd!
this could be a vessel ...So hirap talaga, since the LOrd knows you, the enemy also knows your weakness, but Behold, Jesus Christ already overcome the world, though its so mahirap to control the flesh, a lot of young girls, naniniwala kaagad sa mga "I love You'" ng mga guys, kaya..need din ang advocacy na True Love WAits kasi.,, Ignorance of the Law excuses no one..Kaya nga the Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom.

Just Delight natin sarili natin kay Lord,And the Lord will give the Desires of our hearts ACcording to His will and Purpose....God bless sa lahat!
